If you’ve ever been to a performance at another person’s home you know how special they are– both for the fans and Artists. These sorts of performances are known by several different names: “house shows,” “home shows,” “living room shows,” etc.
At Threshold we call our events Threshows.
Threshold + Shows. See what we did there? Pretty clever huh? Not really, but it works.
Our Threshows fall into 3 categories:
An event where the Artist spends most of the time entertaining the audience. Think musicians, comedians, poets, gamers, and theatrical performers.
A lecture where the Artist spends most of the time talking to the audience. Think authors, educators, podcasters, activists, and thought leaders.
A hands-on workshop where the Artist spends most of the time teaching the audience how to do something. Think animators, actors, athletes, filmmakers, photographers, illustrators, and chefs.
